Biography

Dr. Mayowa Olurotimi Ogunjimi is now a Reader/Associate Professor in the Department of Social Sciences Education after being redeployed from the Department of Adult and Primary Education, Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He was the Acting Head, in the Department of Adult and Primary Education for 2017/2018 Academic Session, Deputy Director of Quality Assurance Unit of the University between 2019 to 2020, and the present Managing Editor of the Faculty Journal, Ilorin Journal of Education (IJE). He was a Lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology, Guidance and Counselling, Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, now Lagos State University of Education, Otto/Ijanikin from 1997 to 2016 where he held many administrative positions. He had about thirty-four publications which span across local and international sources and also attended many workshops and conferences. He is a member of Association of Educational Researchers and Evaluators of Nigeria (ASSEREN). His teaching and research interest is in the area of Educational Research, Test, Measurement and Evaluation, and Childhood Education.
